‘The Force Unleashed’ New Characters, Level

Posted by Mavrik | Filed under ZOMG

After an impressive debut, executive producer Haden Blackman said that LucasArts will be releasing four new playable characters and a new Jedi Temple campaign set to their action title, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, according to Blackman’s interview with Kotaku.

Available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, the four new playable characters will arrive next month: Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Kit Fisto. The new campaign level (hit the source for more details, contains minor spoilers) is expected to arrive later this year.

“If you enjoy the story, the gameplay, the first time through, though, you should enjoy this,” Blackman said. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is now available for the PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and DS platforms.

This is a great idea, but why the hell didn’t they just include it in the original game? Obi-Wan and Luke are already in the PSP, PS2, and Wii versions, but since I have a next-gen console I have to pay more for DLC? Lame.

i agree it is kinda lame especially since the game was so short. But i think they knew they could make so much more money by adding DLC. I mean, i’m totally buying it :) .

yeah it’s good for short attention span…i dunno i’ve been thinking about getting rid of my ds because i just don’t use it as much as i used to since i’ve played most of the games i’m interested in. Sonic will probably be the last game i play on it before i try and sell it on ebay or something

Keep it for Chrono Trigger. One of the best RPGs of all time. Hands-down.
