iPhone Software 2.0 Follows Vista’s Example

Posted by Mavrik | Filed under ZOMG

Sadly Apple’s unstoppable machine may have hit a little bump with the release of the iPhone/iPod touch software update. Apple recently released a new update with a lot of much needed bug fixes (about 3 weeks later). Previous to this release however, many people couldn’t even get reception on their phones which has created a lot of angry early adopters of the iPhone 3G. Unlike Microsoft however, Apple was early to patch the thing up and now (though there are still a few hickups here and there) the software runs much smoother. Their syncing app mobileme also had its own problems for awhile, but those have also been resolved.

There are still some people who are having problems with their phones however. Apple was once the gleaming light (replacing the now fuzzled out Microsoft) in the center of the tech world and now that light my friends has grown a bit dimmer. I’m sure this will all be a memory soon enough with Apple announcing their product that will “put them years ahead of the competition” next month.

In any event, a lot of people are surprised that Apple could have flopped this so badly. Ultimately though this will probably become a failed launch, but the third leading computer maker in the world will be sure they don’t repeat this mistake again.
